Micah Street

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macquarie University and a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Monash University. I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BCBA) and also hold certification through Behaviour Analysis Australia as a Certified Behaviour Analyst. I'm also an accredited Secret Agency Society Social Skills program facilitator.

My clinical work spans a range of settings and ages, though early intervention is very much my focus. I've worked in primary school settings providing behaviour consultation, facilitated social skills and school readiness groups, and supported some adults with a range of independence and social problem solving skills. I'm particularly passionate about those early years, where targeted, evidence-based support can set kids up for a lifetime of success.

It's personal for me. I have a family member with ASD who faced significant challenges navigating mainstream education and that experience gave me both a strong sense of empathy and a real drive to make things better for families navigating similar situations. 

It's not one single moment — it's something I see over and over again. The amount of progress our kids can make in such a short space of time is genuinely remarkable. Every time I witness a child hit a milestone that once felt out of reach, I'm reminded that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be.

To me, inclusion means creating a space where every person can find joy and success simply by being themselves. It is about not just acknowledging, but also celebrating all our individual differences in such a way that everyone ends up better for it.

Lego! I have always loved Lego and that hasn't changed as an adult. My house and office is decorated with it, the only challenge is finding places to display new sets!
