"The moments that remind me I’m exactly where I’m meant to be are seeing the progress each child makes — even the smallest achievements feel incredibly meaningful."
I hold a degree in Psychology, graduating in 2021, and I also completed a specialisation in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Autism. I am currently completing my supervised hours to become an International Behaviour Analyst (IBA).
Since 2018, I have worked across kindergartens, schools, and clinic settings, supporting children aged 3 to 12 years old with a range of additional needs. My experience includes providing both 1:1 therapy sessions and group inclusion support within natural environments such as classrooms and community settings. As a clinician, my focus is helping children develop meaningful skills while promoting participation, independence, and inclusion in their everyday lives
I have always been passionate about helping others, which initially led me to study Psychology. I’ve also always enjoyed interacting with children. Once I began working with children with additional needs, I became passionate about learning how I could better support both the children and their families to make daily life smoother, more positive, and more meaningful.
The moments that remind me I’m exactly where I’m meant to be are seeing the progress each child makes — even the smallest achievements feel incredibly meaningful. Celebrating those milestones alongside the children and their families is very special to me. Receiving messages from parents sharing their excitement and noticing their child’s growth truly fills my heart.
For me, inclusion means truly listening to both the child and their family, understanding their strengths, interests, and goals, and creating opportunities for them to feel valued, supported, and connected within their community. It’s about helping every child participate meaningfully in everyday experiences while embracing and celebrating their individuality.
As a child, I loved dolls and animals, I could spend hours playing, creating stories, and caring for them.
